The processional cross and icon are located in the altar. On feast days, when processions take place, the church utensils are carried by the parishioners several times around the church: on the Sunday of the Cross during Great Lent, on the Elevation, and during other processions.
The crucifix has advantages:
– made of durable brass;
– printed on dense material;
– at three ends, lithographic icons are securely fixed in a metal frame.
The decoration of the attribute is done by gilding with the addition of colored stones. The processional icon is placed on a long wooden handle and carried above the heads of the praying people. On the outer side, it reflects the image of the Queen of Heaven, the Mother of God, and on the reverse side — Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, Archangel Michael, and other saints. The image of Jesus Christ is located on the crucifix itself
